About Young, Marr, Mallis & Associates

Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyers

Young, Marr, Mallis & Associates is a criminal defense law firm providing skilled and aggressive legal representation to adults and minors charged with misdemeanors and felonies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our criminal attorneys are prepared to handle a wide array of cases, including probation violations, juvenile crimes, and criminal charges involving assault, burglary, domestic violence, drug crimes, DUI/DWI, federal crimes, murder and manslaughter, rape and sexual assault, robbery, theft, traffic violations, and white collar crimes such as money laundering.

Though we have earned numerous awards and widespread recognition for our achievements in the field of criminal justice, we prefer to measure our success by the case outcomes we have achieved for our clients – outcomes like reduced penalties, reduced charges, and acquittals in cases involving aggravated assault, drug possession, drunk driving, and felony trespassing. We have also achieved favorable results for clients facing charges as serious as arson, attempted murder, drug delivery, gun possession, repeat DUI, and witness intimidation. In many cases, we have even succeeded in persuading the authorities not to charge our clients with criminal offenses, completely avoiding the stress, expense, and uncertainty of trial.

No matter how challenging a case may be, our aggressive litigators are ready with decades of trial experience in courtrooms across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We are prepared to take on the cases that other law firms or criminal defense attorneys turn down, because we are committed to providing the quality representation that every defendant is entitled to receive.

There is nothing easy about being charged with a crime or dealing with the arrest of a family member. We understand the intense pressures that you are under right now, and are here to protect your constitutional rights as we help you understand and navigate the justice system with your loved ones. Gail N. Marr, Esquire, Partner

bucks county criminal defense lawyer

Gail Marr began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bucks County over 20 years ago. After a few years and many trials, she decided that she would prefer to represent those charged with crimes; as opposed to prosecuting those same individuals. She understands that people make mistakes, poor choices, suffer from addictions, as well as other background information, that leads them to find themselves caught up in the criminal justice system. Gail has a reputation of fighting for her clients, by using that background information, as well as legal argument, to get amazing results for those clients and give them a chance to start over again. Gail provides personalized service to her clients, and their families if authorized, so that they understand the process and are able to assist in preparing any possible defense. Every client is given her personal cell phone number so that they can reach her if they have questions or an urgent situation that needs to be addressed.

Gail has handled all types of criminal cases, including Driving under the influence charges, Assault and Sexual Assault charges, Drug and Theft related charges, as well as Homicide, Homicide by Vehicle and Attempted Homicide. While most of the criminal cases brought before the Court end up in some sort of plea arrangement, Gail is willing to go to trial if it is in the client’s best interest, and the various Assistant District Attorney’s know this and it often enables her to get a better plea negotiation because they know she will not back down.

Gail is a lifelong Pennsylvania resident, growing up in Lower Bucks County, and now residing in Upper Bucks County. She also resided in Northampton County for a period of time before returning to her present location. She attended both college and law school at Rutgers University; her undergraduate degree was a BS with a psychology major; and while attending law school she spent one year at the
University of Connecticut and holds a license to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut!
Gail is the mother of four adult children, and understands what it is like to be a parent concerned for a child that may be in trouble. She is proud of all of her children, as they are all gainfully employed after attending college, in fields of business, sports management, medicine and the military. She also has two beautiful grandsons, with a third on the way. She loves spending time with them, and has a good perspective on a work/life balance. She is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and often goes to games with her family, both home and away. She is a singer, and is part of a band that performs at events, weddings, and bar/nightclubs. She is a woman of faith and enjoys all types of music especially contemporary Christian artists.
